The Central Bank has announced that it is to put into circulation two banknotes with tactile marks for the blind and sight-impaired.
The marks will be placed on the front of the new Dh100 and Dh50 banknotes, state news agency Wam said.
The step is one of the Central Bank’s attempts to help sight-impaired individuals access all banking services.
