New prosecutors are sworn in

Sheikh Khalifa, President of the UAE, has issued a federal decree appointing 12 Emirati public prosecutors to the Federal Prosecution.

The new prosecutors were sworn in on Monday before Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, Minister of Justice, and in the presence of Attorney General Salem Saeed Kubaish, reported the state news agency, Wam.

Mr Al Badi welcomed the new prosecutors and called on them to benefit from the experiences of fellow judiciary members in their pursuit of world-class performance levels and to achieve justice and the rule of law.
