A new federal supreme court building is being built in Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has revealed that it commenced construction works on the project in July.
Musanada’s building acting director, Mohamed Omar Al Hashmi, said that it will provide a wide range of services to residents, including customer and translation services.
The Dh159.5 million project will encompass six large courts, an office for the chief judge, 13 offices for judges, a meeting hall for the members, a library, administrative offices, a transaction hall and a meeting hall. The building will also include detention rooms, a large library, a majlis, multi-purpose offices, an auditorium, prayer rooms, lawyers rooms and parking lots with space for 136 cars.
