Men ‘kidnapped woman by dragging her out of taxi into their car’

Police swoop on two men after taxi driver called in to report incident.

FUJAIRAH // Two Gulf citizens have been arrested for kidnapping a 25-year-old Asian woman, Fujairah Police said.

A taxi driver called police at 5am on Thursday reporting that two men dragged a woman from his cab into their car and drove away.

According to the police report, they managed to locate and arrest the suspects, Y S and A M, within an hour in Kalba, in collaboration with Kalba Police.

The case has been transferred to prosecutors.
