DUBAI // An Emirates flight to New York JFK airport had to turn around and return to Dubai soon after take-off after a medical emergency involving a passenger.
According to Twitter users, Flight EK201, an Airbus A380, had to dump its fuel load before it landed back in Dubai.
An Emirates spokesman said: “The aircraft has landed and the passenger is being assisted off the aircraft to receive medical attention.
“Emirates apologises for any inconvenience. The safety of our passengers and crew is always of paramount importance.”
