Man killed after car collides with camel in Sharjah

The camel died on the spot while the driver was rushed to the hospital before succumbing to his injuries.

SHARJAH // A 26-year-old Emirati motorist has died after his car collided with a camel.

Police said that at around 5.30pm the man, A S, was on Al Mudam-Mlaiha road when the animal wandered into his path.

The camel died instantly, while the man swerved off the road and crashed into a farm fence.

He was taken to Al Dhaid Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
