ABU DHABI // A man has denied barging into a women’s hotel apartment and raping her.
M S, from India, is alleged to have attacked C, from the US, after she returned home from work and fell asleep on the couch.
She said she did not know how he managed to enter her home.
After the attack, M S left the apartment and C reported the incident to hotel security.
In court M S denied the charges, arguing that there had been a dispute between himself and her boyfriend, L, and C had claimed she was raped to get back at him.
L is not in the country and could not be summoned to testify.
The case was adjourned.
