Majlis on national service held in Al Ain

AL AIN // National service and its impact on building personality was the topic of a Ministry of Interior majlis in Al Ain.

Attendees heard that national service should be addressed by such councils, since it enhances the idea of positive citizenship for future generations and is a way of giving back to one’s country.

Maj Nasser Al Khili of the Federal National and Reserve Service Authority explained aspects of the Ministry of Interior’s involvement in organisation for the service and the law related to national service.

He said the role of national service is to develop the personalities of recruits, increase their knowledge and skills, and strengthen the country’s regional and international position.

First Lt Saif Mohammed bin Saif said the ministry focused on good citizenship, among other concepts, during training of recruits.
