The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation plans to distribute 2,000 food baskets to 2,000 Somali families in Hargeisa and surrounding areas.
The move follows the directives of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to assist the people of Somalia.
The aid packages include flour, rice, sugar and cooking oil.
