SHARJAH // A housemaid has been found hanging in a storage room at her sponsor’s villa.
Sharjah Police on Saturday said an investigation had been launched after the body of a 39-year-old Indonesian woman was found hanging form the ceiling in the villa in Al Yash.
A family member found the maid and reported the incident to police.
CID officers and forensic teams collected evidence and lifted fingerprints from the storage room, while the maid’s body was taken to the forensic lab for a post-mortem examination.
Family members have been taken in for questioning, police said.
