Pink Caravan conduct breast cancer awareness sessions in Sharjah

Pink Caravan, the pan-UAE breast cancer awareness initiative by the Friends of Cancer Patients charity (FoCP), has conducted breast cancer awareness training sessions at Al Amal School for Deaf Students and Al Thiqah Club for the Handicapped, two Sharjah-based institutions for people with special needs.

The Pink Caravan medical team told the students and staff at Al Amal School about the importance of breast cancer awareness, including regular self-examination. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, and a chance for students to request a free breast clinical examination with Pink Caravan’s doctors.

The medical team also visited Al Thiqah Club, where they providedover 30 members, their families and staff with a presentation and a free breast cancer clinical examination.
