Ministry of Health cuts prices of hundreds of drugs

After a recent meeting between industry experts, the ministry agreed to reduce the price of more than 420 drugs.

More than 420 drugs will be reduced in price as part of an initiative from the Ministry of Health, the state news agency Wam reported. People suffering chronic, neurological or cardiac-related diseases, as well as cancer, will benefit most, said Dr Amin Al Amiri, the assistant undersecretary for Public Health and Licensing.
