DUBAI // The Dubai Health Authority has launched an app to help inspectors to conduct more efficient facility and professional inspections.

The app uses features like digital signatures, evidence capture by image or video, offline inspection data entering, synchronising data and QR Code Scanning to speed up the process.

“The smart inspection system is completely paperless, efficient and highly convenient,” said Dr Layla Al Marzouqi, director of health regulation and the Dubai medical tourism project.

Dr Al Marzouqi said that all notifications are now given online, including violations and fines which are issued on-the-spot using e-signatures and the facility or health care provider gets an immediate notification via email.
