DUBAI // A plan will be rolled out throughout Eid Al Adha to ensure readiness in dealing with emergencies and patient rescue, the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services said.
The company will deploy ambulances in areas of high traffic and with high numbers of visitors throughout the holiday, such as beaches, public parks and shopping malls.
Khalifa bin Darrai, the company's chief executive, told Al Ittihad, the sister newspaper of The National, that there are 75 "ambulance points" in neighbourhoods and on roads in the emirate to facilitate access, meaning that response time would be four to eight minutes in most cases.
Eighty-one ambulances, including 75 ambulance three buses and intensive-care vehicles, and three field-supply vehicles for support and assistance are ready to respond to reports during the holiday, he said.
