AJMAN // The public health and environment department at Ajman Municipal and Planning Department hosted a joint meeting with officials from Ajman Police to discuss the negative impact of paan and neswar on the community in the emirate.
It is part of a series of meetings aimed to promote collaboration and exchange of information and knowledge about the banned chewing tobaccos, which are having negative health effects on members of the community.
The authorities discussed ways to enhance cooperation to combat the banned substances and stressed the need for regular inspection campaigns in known trading locations in Ajman.
