Abu Dhabi Terry Fox Run to be held at end of month

So far, 17 schools and universities have committed to participate in the run at the end of February.

The 20th Terry Fox Run Abu Dhabi is scheduled to take place on February 27 on the Abu Dhabi Corniche . The event promotes cancer research in the UAE.

So far, 17 schools and universities have committed to participate. There will be DJ-infused live music for the hugely popular warm-up session that precedes the run itself.

Participants can go to the registration desks from 7am onwards to collect a participation ribbon. The 8.5 kilometre out-and-back run starts at the East Plaza on the Corniche and heads towards Mina Zayed. The event is a fun run and open toall.

There is no registration fee. Donations are encouraged and welcomed, and will go towards supporting cancer research projects at Al Ain University Teaching Hospital at Tawam.
