The Human Appeal International (HAI) in the UAE has provided Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem with a modern garbage disposal lorry worth Dh400,000, reported Wam, the state news agency.
Ibrahim Rashid, director of HAI’s office in the West Bank, delivered the vehicle to Sheikh Azzam Al Khatib, head of the Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, in a ceremony attended by a number of Palestinian officials.
“Jerusalem is the responsibility of all Arabs and Muslims, not only Palestinians or the residents of Jerusalem,” said the grand mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Ahmad Hussein.
