DUBAI // The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) approved a raft of housing and construction projects in the second quarter of 2015.
They included 604 housing assistance requests, including 325 residential plots, 45 ready home grants, 10 home maintenance and replacement requests, and three cash assistance requests, according to Noura Al Khaja, head of the grants and housing loans department.
There were also 132 construction loans requests, 81 ready home loan requests, and eight loans for home maintenance and expansion during the second quarter, at a cost of almost Dh159 million.
The MBRHE, which ofers housing support to UAE nationals, also approved 14 requests for construction loans for bachelors above 35-years-old, costing Dh10.5 million.
