The UAE military put on a spectacular show in Ajman on Friday.
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, was in attendance for Union Fortress 5, carried out by the Armed Forces in the Al Zorah area.
Huge crowds turned out for the parade, which featured live military displays by various units of the Armed Forces and Presidential Guard.
The show aims to highlight the role of the UAE military in safeguarding the security of the country and its residents.
The Union Fortress event was held for the first time at Abu Dhabi Corniche, on March 2, 2017 with subsequent editions being held in Sharjah, Al Ain and Fujairah.
