ABU DHABI // The Ministry of International Cooperation and Development seeks to realise the aspirations of the wise leadership about development of government services, said Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi.
Sheikha Lubna, who heads the ministry and is also head of the UAE Committee for Coordination of Humanitarian Foreign Aid, said this will be attained through a shift to smart government in line with the country’s vision for 2021 to become one of the world’s best governments.
She spoke about her ministry’s participation, along with other federal institutions, at the Smart Government Conference and Exhibition, which ended today, reported the state news agency, Wam.
The ministry developed a smart services system despite being established in 2013, she said, adding that the ministry is moving ahead with determination to strengthen technical aspects of the services.
