The Arab League has praised Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, for her efforts in supporting Arab women, the state news agency Wam said.
She was named “Mother of Humanity Mother of the Arabs”.
The league said the title was granted for her role in empowering Arab women and protecting childhood.
