ABU DHABI // Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, met with Dr Liam Fox, UK Secretary of State for International Trade, on Monday.
The two discussed relations between the UAE and the UK and ways to strengthen the investment and knowledge sectors in the best interests of both countries.
Sheikh Nahyan welcomed the British official and commended the relations between the two peoples. He hoped this visit would further strengthen relations in all fields.
Dr Fox stressed the keenness of the UK to enhance relations with the UAE and praised the progress of the UAE, reported Wam, the state news agency.
