Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed meets with President of Burkina Faso

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed efforts to combat terrorism and bring about peace during talks with the President of Burkina Faso.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces welcomed Roch Marc Christian Kabore to Al Shati Palace during his visit to the UAE.

The leader of the West African nation explored ways to bolster ties between the two countries, in fields such as investment, trade and the economy.

International security and stability was also high on the agenda during the meeting.

Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE has put a high priority on its co-operation with African countries, where promising business opportunities await for Emirati companies.

President Kabore expressed his delight at visiting the UAE and witnessing its social and economic development at first hand.

A number of UAE ministers attended the meeting, including Suhail Al Mazroui, Minister of Energy and Industry, Mohammed Al Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs and Ahmed Ali Ali Sayegh, Minister of State.
