ABU DHABI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended on Wednesday a reception hosted by Abdullah Sulaiman Al Hammadi.
The reception at the Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel in Abu Dhabi was held to celebrate the wedding of Mr Al Hammadi’s son Faisal to the daughter of Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Ali.
Also present were Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and other sheikhs, senior officials, guests and the couple’s relatives.
Also on the same day Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed attended a reception hosted by Al Bateen Majlis for the fourth mass wedding in the district.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the couples and their families, wishing them a happy family life.
Among those who attended were Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Sheikh Omar bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, a number of sheikhs and Jaber Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, General Director of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
The couples expressed their joy at holding their weddings in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed and other sheikhs, a move they said reflects the strong bonds and cohesion between the leadership and the Emirati people, reported Wam, the state news agency.
