ABU DHABI // A UAE relief programme is helping Afghan families returning to Kabul province after fleeing to Pakistan.
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation is implementing the aid project, which includes providing food and winter shelter materials, in two areas of Kabul, benefitting 157 families.
The move follows directives of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with the follow-up of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs as well as Chairman of the Khalifa Foundation.
