UAE citizens have been warned against traveling to India because of H1N1 influenza virus in some regions of the country, state news agency Wam reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Emiratis currently there to avoid affected areas and public places where the disease is likely to spread.
Rashid Al Dhaheri, director of citizens affairs at the ministry, urged UAE citizens travelling abroad to enroll in the Tawajudi programme and read advice on the ministry website.
