ABU DHABI // Officials have revealed that housing loans and grants worth Dh6.8 billion have been awarded to Emiratis since the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) was created.
About 3,400 Emiratis have benefited from financial assistance under the scheme, said Saif Al Qubaissi, director general of the ADHA, speaking to Al Ittihad, the Arabic sister paper of The National.
The money is designed to ensure that Emiratis have the means to build a private home or repair, improve or complete an existing residence.
Applicants must submit their applications to the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority in person.
