Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, offered his condolences to the family of Emirati serviceman Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Al Dahmani.

The first corporal died while carrying out his duty as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

While visiting the mourning majlis in Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Mohammed prayed to Allah to have mercy on his soul, to grant him eternal peace in heaven, and to provide his family with comfort and solace to bear the loss, WAM reported.

While talking with the father and brothers, Sheikh Mohammed expressed the pride of the country's leadership and people of the nation's heroes who showed heroic and brave acts that honour them, their families as well as their nation.

''They offered the ultimate sacrifice for the service of their nation, right and duty and showed deeply rooted values of faithfulness, courage, dedication and sacrifice,'' Sheikh Mohammed said.

Also offering condolences were Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun, director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, secretary general of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
