The Ministry of Interior has called on citizens and their families to take advantage of the ministry’s electronic passport renewal service, available on smartphones.
The UAE-MOI app, available for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows smartphone users, allows people to complete transactions online.
Maj Gen Khalifa Al Khaili, acting assistant undersecretary for the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, said the use of the application to renew passports, and for other services, is an important step that comes as part of the ministry’s strategy to make most of its services available to smartphone users.
