ABU DHABI // Around 621 entries from 51 government bodies have been received by Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance.
Yasser Ahmed Al Naqbi, director of the office of ADAEGP, said the increasing number of entrants reflects their commitment to excellence as a means to better performance and adopt best practices.
Mr Al Naqbi noted that the entries for the current edition marked a 20 per cent increase over the previous edition.
The entries will be assessed as of end of June, and will be followed by visits to entities that made it to phase 2 in September. The winners are to be honoured in November.
