Fire breaks out in curtain warehouse in Sharjah

SHARJAH // A fire broke out in a warehouse used to store curtains in the free zone on Sunday.

Civil Defence dispatched emergency teams from Headquarters, Samnan, Al Mina and Al Sajaa stations after being alerted to the fire at 7.45pm.

Nobody was injured in the fire, according to Col Sami Al Naqbi, director of Sharjah Civil Defence.

Emergency teams cooled the warehouse after extinguishing the blaze before handing the site over to forensic labs from Sharjah Police to determine the cause.
