Humidity levels are set to rise over the next two days with foggy conditions reducing visibility to less than 1,000 metres at times over coastal, internal areas in the western sectors of the country.
The likelihood of mist formation in the early hours will continue until Tuesday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.
The temperature in Abu Dhabi will peak at 42°C, will move up to 40°C in Dubai and 41°C in Sharjah and stay at 38°C in Ras Al Khaimah and 36°C in Fujairah.
Low clouds will increase humidity over the mountainous areas by afternoon.
The maximum humidity will be 60 to 90 per cent across coastal areas, 55 to 85 per cent in interior regions and between 35 to 65 per cent in the mountains.
