Residents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi woke to morning fog on Friday as winter weather in the country sets in.
Visibility was reduced to less than 1,000 metres for much of the country, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Temperatures are expected to peak at around 30°C that will burn off the morning covering.
There will be light to moderate winds and expected cloud cover for much of the day
