Forecasters issued an early morning fog warning as motorists returned to their daily commute after the weekend.
In a statement, The National Centre for Meteorology said visibility could be reduced to less than 1,000 metres in some inland areas of the country from 2.30am until 9am today.
It will be a humid start, with any mist or fog clearing to leave fair to partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures will be on the rise, hitting highs of 27C and 28C on the coast and inland, respectively.
Winds will be light to moderate, at 15-25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h at times.
The sea will be slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
Temperatures are expected to climb again tomorrow.
