Residents across the country woke up to clear skies, with light to moderate winds reaching up to 32kph along the coast and inland. Temperatures will hit a maximum of 33°C along the coast and 36°C in internal areas during the day, said the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). Humidity will increase at night and early morning over some coastal areas. Humidity is expected to reach 90 per cent across the coast and 85 per cent in interior regions. Light to moderate winds will freshen up conditions during the day, with south-easterly winds blowing between 16 to 26kph across interior regions and could reach 32kph, according to NCMS. Temperatures reached as low as 9.6°C at Damtha on Friday at 6:30am. Other low temperatures were reported in Raknah, Al Shuaibah, Al Wathba and Hamin. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be slight to moderate. Similar conditions will persist into Saturday.
