Temperatures are predicted to hit 36°C in the afternoon, with light winds of up to 22kph.

Humidity is predicted to be greatest during the night and into Saturday morning, which could make temperatures harder to bear.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of cloud and light winds.

Peak temperatures are also expected to hit 35°C, but with lighter breezes of only 16kph.
