UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi see foggy start

Residents in the UAE were greeted with fog on Sunday to mark the start of March.

Drivers were advised to take care in areas where visibility is at its poorest.

Over the course of the day, the country is likely to experience sunny spells, with a few cloudy moments throughout the day.

The National Centre of Meteorology said temperatures will rise, reaching 31°C in Abu Dhabi and 29°C in Dubai.

The weather bureau forecasts that it will become more humid on Sunday night and Monday morning over some coastal areas.

It will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
