DUBAI // The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) warned drivers of poor visibility in scattered areas in the UAE due to dust stirred by strong winds, advising them to take precautionary measures on roads.
It is also advised people from going to sea as the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are forecast to be rough for the next 48 hours.
NCMS reported light rainfall in Al Hamra region on Thursday morning.
A cold air mass is leading the weather to be unstable and partly cloudy especially in regions over areas in the west, north-east and over a few islands, said the NCMS.
It added that the air temperature will decrease gradually, especially over the western region.
NCMS said that the weather will remain unstable and partly cloudy in general until Sunday night, adding there is a chance of rain in different time intervals.
