There are plenty of people who think there are only two seasons in the UAE - hot and even hotter.
But while the summer has been just as scorching as ever - dust storms and blasts of heavy rain, wind and hail have made the weather anything but predictable.
Just a day after humidity levels hit a shirt-drenching 100 per cent in parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, residents have been hit by a fresh spell of unseasonable conditions.

Many needed to reach for an umbrella as well as the usual sun cream when out and about on Wednesday.
The National Centre of Meteorology shared footage of hail battering Sweihan, in Al Ain, and rain lashing down in many parts of Al Ain, too.
Weather watchers throughout the UAE has been looking up at skies first grey then orange as sweeping dust clouds made for poor visibility for drivers on the roads who have also had to contend with a deluge of rain creating slippery road conditions.
The forecast is for misty and foggy conditions on Thursday.
