SHARJAH // The Beeah environment company has signed a deal to buy 10 electric eco-friendly vehicles to collect rubbish in the emirate.
Khaled Al Huraimel, the chief executive of the company, said the move is in line with the company’s efforts to make the city a better and more eco-friendly place.
He said the zero-emissions fleet is an important step towards providing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
The vehicles allow easy access to new areas and can be charged with devices that allow them to run for 130km without needing to stop for a recharge.
