RAS AL KHAIMAH // An 18-month-old Emirati girl died after falling in a bucket of water in her parents’ bathroom on Tuesday.
She was taken to Saqr Public Hospital and was placed in an intensive care unit, where she died the following day.
The girl was heading to the bathroom when she tripped up and fell into the bucket, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National.
The newspaper heard from a hospital source, who urged parents to be vigilant about their children’s safety and not to leave them unattended.
