ABU DHABI // A number of Emiratis have been airlifted back to the country from Saudi Arabia after they were involved in a car accident that killed one of them.
They were taken to Mafraq Hospital and Zayed Military Hospital for treatment.
One of the victims died while others were taken to a hospital in Saudi Arabia, reported the state news agency Wam.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, ordered the evacuation of the Emiratis by aircraft to transport the injured back to Abu Dhabi.
