ABU DHABI // Artwork by students from five of Abu Dhabi’s leading secondary and international schools are now on display at an exhibition at Etihad Modern Art Gallery.
Students from Al Bateen Secondary School, International School of Choueifat, German International School Abu Dhabi, the British School Al Khubairat, and the American Community School of Abu Dhabi are exhibiting their assigned end of year art projects.
“As expected leaders of the future, it is necessary for young people of today to be able to train their minds to function in a more abstract and creative way,” said Khaled Siddiq Al Mutawaa, founder of the gallery. “The ability to think globally and think about audiences and markets outside, as well as locally, is an essential tool for success.”
Etihad Modern Art Gallery operates an open-door, free admission policy throughout the week, focusing artwork from well-established and upcoming Emirati and international artists.
The exhibition is on display until May 28.
