Policy workshops organised for Abu Dhabi private school officials

ABU DHABI // More than 360 private school owners, board members and leaders from 187 institutions across the emirate have been invited to workshops on effective school governance.

The four workshops, which focus on accountability, transparency, integrity and quality education, are held by Abu Dhabi Education Council and are the final part of a series of policy workshops taking place in three stages over a three-year period.

They are intended to provide school leaders with support in meeting requirements outlined in Adec’s policy manual for private schools.

“Adec prioritises quality education in a safe, secure and interactive learning environment, which is exactly why it is crucial that school leaders, school owners and governance members work together and come up with an effective and efficient governance system that is in line with Adec’s Regulatory Framework,” said Hamad Al Dhaheri, executive director of Adec’s Private School and Quality Assurance department.
