Almost a dozen pupils helped paint over graffiti on public walls in Bani Yas as part of a municipality campaign.
The pupils of Hamza Bin Abdulmotalab Secondary School donned aprons and face masks before taking to the streets to help make their community graffiti free.
The campaign was launched by Al Wathba Municipality in Bani Yas area and targets pupil to teach them the importance of keeping their community clean.
The pupils said they were happy to be involved in the clean-up.
In a statement, Abu Dhabi Municipality said it regularly organizes awareness and inspection campaigns to remove graffiti and called on community members to help "preserve the emirate's appearance."
