Dubai student in lipstick-stained underwear caught with girlfriend in car at mall

The Emirati was spotted by police in his Nissan Patrol in a state of undress with his teenage girlfriend in the car.

DUBAI // A 20-year-old student was caught in his underwear getting intimate with his teenage girlfriend in a car parked at a mall.

Police were suspicious of the Nissan Patrol that was parked with its engine running in the car park of the mall in Al Mizhar, so approached the vehicle.

Emirati A A jumped out in his underwear as his Emirati girlfriend, M A, 19, sat in the 4x4.

Emirati policeman E A, said they had noticed the car at about 6pm on June 5 last year.

“I approached it and knocked on its window and the driver got out from the car in his underwear, with lipstick on his vest.

“I asked him about his relationship with the woman in his car and he said she was his girlfriend of about nine months.”

The driver and his girlfriend were taken to a police station, where they were accused of being intimate in public. They were referred to prosecutors then Dubai Court of Misdemeanours, where the student confessed to the charge while his girlfriend was not present to enter a plea.

The girlfriend had earlier told police: “We are in love and we did not do more than hug each other, and I only went out with him in his car this one time because he brought me some gifts and wanted to give them to me.”

A verdict is expected on January 15.
