A 180-metre tower on the Palm Jumeirah is among developments worth Dh4bn that will be launched by Nakheel at Cityscape Global on Monday. The Palm Beach Residences will be comprised of 250 one to three-bedroom flats topped with a 38th floor sky lounge overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Construction for the tower is pegged for the second quarter of 2018 and will host sports, health and leisure facilities as well as retail and dining attractions. Another project to announced by Nakheel include new a residential development, mall, hotel and health complex at Discovery Gardens. Jenan Heights is a gated community made up of nine towers with 2,500 flats between them all. It will be connected to the planned Discovery Gardens Mall by a pedestrian bridge and is due to break ground in the second quarter of 2018. The new mall will include a 350-room hotel and will have more than 41,000 square metres of leasable space. Jumeirah Park Leisure - a health, fitness and wellbeing complex - is also expected to start construction next year. A new hotel at Jumeirah Village Circle will provide mid-scale hospitality and will comprise 252 hotel rooms. Six marinas will be also built to house more than 600 boats and yachts at Deira Islands.
