FUJAIRAH // A Fujairah Police delegation has visited colleagues in Dubai to learn about their innovators’ club and its inventions.
The team from Fujairah Police visited the Department of Protective Security and Emergency (DPSE) at Dubai Police, where they were familiarised with the innovations of the DPSE’s innovators’ club.
Lieutenant Hassan Issa Al Baloushi, a member of the club, gave a detailed presentation of the club’s inventions and designs, such as the Al Nawras solar-powered boat, the electronic guiding stick for the visually challenged, the early warning fire detector, the smart plane and rain sensor.
Colonel Sulaiman Al Murshidi, director of human resources department at Fujairah Police, said the visit was part of knowledge-exchange efforts between the two forces, adding that when choosing to set up an innovators’ club at his force, he could find no better than Dubai Police’s innovators’ club to learn from.
