DUBAI // Dubai Municipality has introduced the first electronic waste collection service in the emirate in partnership with waste management company Averda.
The first e-Waste bin is now located at the Al Etihad Mall in Muhaisnah and other e-Waste bins will soon be distributed around Dubai for public use.
It is part of a sustainable recycling initiative to help reduce the amount of electronic waste sent to landfills; minimising the impacts of hazardous e-waste on the environment and helping salvage valuable material.
