DUBAI // Two drunk men who stalked a woman then touched her behind after she left a restaurant have been jailed for three months each.
Pakistani workers G A, 36, and Z S, 28, denied sexually assaulting the woman, S K, 27, who is also from Pakistan, when she left the restaurant on Bur Dubai’s Khalid bin Al Waleed Road on August 1 after dining with a male relative.
“After the dinner we walked out of the restaurant and noticed two men following us,” said the woman.
When they continued to stalk the woman, the male relative yelled at the pair. “They denied that they were following us but, as my relative and I resumed walking away, I felt someone touching my behind – it was them, and then they ran away,” said S K.
A policeman was passing at the moment the incident happened and arrested the pair.
They both pleaded not guilty at Dubai Criminal Court in September but were found guilty on Tuesday.
Both will be deported after completing their jail terms.
